Strawberry vinaigrette salad dressing has a light sweet and tangy flavor. It is such a delicious salad dressing and making it at home is a great way to avoid some of the extra preservatives typically added to store-bought.

    Strawberry Vinaigrette

Summer salads always seem to be screaming for something lighter on them. This fresh strawberry vinaigrette is just the thing.

We love picking fresh strawberries when they are in seasoning. We love using our fresh picked strawberries in desserts such as strawberry poke cake and strawberry cobbler, but also in this strawberry salad dressing recipe

Strawberry vinaigrette pairs so well not only with a strawberry spinach salad, but's also great drizzled over fruit salad or as a marinade for meat.

    Homemade Strawberry Vinaigrette Recipe

I love being able to make homemade salad dressing and vinaigrettes at home.

This means I can make as much or little as I want to. This is perfect when I don't have much room in the fridge, so can make just enough for one meal.

Or, I can make enough for several meals and store it in the fridge. If I'm having a large gathering, I can make enough for everyone.

This fresh strawberry vinaigrette recipe makes about ½ a pint, so make sure to adjust serving sizes as needed.

If you want to make enough strawberry vinaigrette to last you for more than one meal, you can store any extra in an air-tight container in the fridge for up to two weeks. Make sure to do a quick sniff check before using it after the first few days.

    What's in Strawberry Vinaigrette?

Our simple strawberry vinaigrette dressing includes fresh strawberries, apple cider vinegar, honey, a bit of both lime zest as well as the juice and olive oil.

You'll find the longest part of making this strawberry salad dressing is chopping up the strawberries.

    Strawberry Vinaigrette Ingredients

    • chopped fresh strawberries
    • apple cider vinegar
    • honey
    • lime juice
    • lime zest
    • olive oil
    Vinaigrette ingredients.

    How to Make Strawberry Vinaigrette

Making strawberry vinaigrette couldn't be easier.

It's truly adding everything to a food processor and blending. Please note that you can use a blender or food processor to make this dressing recipe.

Step 1: Add everything to the blender (sliced strawberries, apple cider vinegar, honey, lime juice, and lime zest), except for the olive oil. Blend until it's all well combined, scraping down the sides as needed.

Step 2: Once everything is mixed well, add in your olive oil. If using a food processor, slowly pour in the oil. If you are using a blender, add in half the olive oil, blend. Then add in the remainder and blend.
