Delicious, soft snickerdoodles. A great, cinnamon and sugar flavored cookie.

- 1 cup 2 sticks unsalted butter, softened
- 1 ½ cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs room temperature
- 2 tbsp milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp cream of tartar
- 1 tsp baking soda
- ½ teaspoon salt
Coating
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- 2 tsp ground cinnamon
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Line baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone mat.
In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, cream of tartar, baking soda and salt.
In a large bowl, cream together butter, 1 ½ sugar until fluffy.
Add eggs, milk and vanilla extract and beat until smooth.
Gradually add flour mixture and mix until combined.
In a small bowl whisk together ¼ cup sugar and cinnamon.
Scoop using a cookie dough scoop or tablespoon and roll dough into ball.
Roll dough in sugar and cinnamon mixture and place on baking sheet. Repeat with remaining dough.
Bake for 8-10 minutes or until slightly set in the center for a soft cookie, longer if you want a crispier cookie.
Remove from oven and place on wire rack to cool.
Store in airtight container.
